Cassette Tuesday presents the band TSOL that have changed
bands members and their style of music. Following the
members of TSOL is like trying to follow the members of Deep Purple.
TSOL "Revenge" is their first rock release in 1986.
TSOL known as True Sounds of Liberty first started as
a punk band in 1978. The majority of the band members left during
the second album and continued to record a punk album on their third release.
By their fourth release "Revenge" TSOL sounded more rock I would say
more like a Guns N Roses band who's drummer Steven Adler actually wore TSOL t-shirts
in "Sweet Child O' Mine" video. Of course at this time the line was drawn
by fans of TSOL who liked the punk and those who liked the rock.
"Revenge" has some pretty good rock songs "Colors (Take Me Away)" was
actually a video that wasn't played much on MTV during this time.
Some other songs that I liked "No Time" "Nothing For You", "Revenge",
"Still The Same" well you get it the whole cassette is pretty good.
