1973, Bruce Springsteen - Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J., cassette

Cassette Tuesday we go into the 1973 debut of
Bruce Springsteen "Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J." cassette

Now I didn't purchase this cassette in '73 but I always enjoyed Springsteen's
songs especially the early years. "Spirit In The Night" was a popular hit
well on FM radio among other tracks. "Blinded By The Light" was
a hit when Manfred Mann's Earth Band covered it in 1977. "It's Hard To Be Saint In The City"
was another favorite of mine but the one I really loved was "Lost In The Flood".
I can understand how the music publications called Bruce the new Dylan.
Just like Dylan, Bruce crammed a load of lyrics in his songs. They are practically
short stories. "Lost In The Flood" reminds me of an S.E. Hinton book "The Outsiders
Matter of fact quite a few tracks could be the soundtrack.
"Lost In The Flood" I posted a youtube at end of page.

Not much for liner notes or credits. The only copy appears on the cover
and on the cassette itself.
